Christ Church INDY began with several families who had nowhere to turn. Indiana, known for its bible belt kindness, is all talk in the light of the spiritual bankruptcy that is her soil and roots. If there is expository preaching, it is met with cold orthodoxy, if there is community it is fueled by its warm heresies. These families were desperate, several of them went to a church that was about to close down, and many others were scattered about the countryside and in the city. Yet God makes sweet the desperation of mankind. Through uncanny connections, and long conversations with our planting church (Trinity Reformed Church) these families came together to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We began meeting a few times at one of the founding member’s house, and now we have come to a Holiday Inn Conference room where we pray the Lord continues to grow us as a small body of believers to full maturity, where we mix together the warmness of orthodoxy with the sweetness of real community. We exist for the purpose of: All of Christ, for all of life, to all of Indiana. Come Worship with us and join a community that isn’t inundated with weak liberal Christianity.
